Dublin based artist Peter Dee first exhibited his work in 2002 and has since gone from strenght to strength. Peter works in oils, and his painting subjects include landscape, seascape and still life compositions. It is in the area of still life that most of his work is focused. He strives to capture the effects of light on various surfaces. His paintings are full of visual contrasts - hard and soft edges, light and dark tones, vivid and dull colours. His work is now in many corporate collections including Bewleys Group, Enterprise Ireland, Forfas & Aer Rianta. Many Irish art galleries show his work and his work is also exhibited at various art exhibitions including The Dublin Painting & Sketching Club and The Dublin Art Society annual exhibitions.
