This local artist studied at the National College of Art & Design, the Art Therapy summer school of Crawford College Cork, the New York Studio School of drawing, painting and sculpture and attended the International School of painting, drawing and sculpture in Umbria, Italy. "My images and writings reflect the female(ness) in the Irish landscape and the untamed sea. I can only be successful if I have been within her presence for a period of time prior to the finished piece of work. I will continue to explore the energy and the emotional impact that I feel when I am out in the landscape."
